Ode to Computer
One day at Three Cubed
is all it took.
One look at computers all over the store
decided me:
I want to be a computer.
I want to be laptop.
Blinking Dells
never seemed so cool.
Let me be Microsoft
and I can show
the world.
Yes, I’ll risk being fried and yelled at.
Just let me be a computer,
sitting on the floor
alone with a desk for company,
and wait for you to
learn, chat, watch, and teach from me.
When that timer rings in heaven,
I’ll tell what just happened down here.
Go on.
I’m half computer
already.
is all it took.
One look at computers all over the store
decided me:
I want to be a computer.
I want to be laptop.
Blinking Dells
never seemed so cool.
Let me be Microsoft
and I can show
the world.

Just let me be a computer,
sitting on the floor
alone with a desk for company,
and wait for you to

I’ll tell what just happened down here.
Go on.
I’m half computer
