Labled Coffee

In case I forgot to mention,
I can’t stand coffee:
Cappuccinos, decaf,
Black coffee, You coffee-
Even Starbucks coffee
(It’s all made up.
I’ve looked inside
And all I found was coffee,
No female stars of Broadway,
Or mounted deer on the wall.)
Make no mistake
I don’t accept any at any time
For early in the morning
Or on a cold winters evening.
Haven’t you noticed?
I’m made of skeleton,
Muscle and skin.
My body is the only place
I should be identified as.
But you like your coffee.
So keep them.
Flavor them no-gooder, wimp, princess.
Flavor them bully, brainiac
Or just plain old geek.
Choose whatever
Coffee you like, classmates.
Just don’t classify me
as one, son.
Believe me.
I’ll taste real bad as one.
